A good travel trip means you get away from home for a decent adventure. If you make your list, check it twice and then just sit back and wait to see what interesting things happen along the way, you will not only be prepared, but you will also have a great time. Don’t bring extra valuables that you don’t need. Having valuable items with you on a trip is just asking to have them lost or stolen.

To enhance your personal safety in hotels, bring along a doorstopper. Particularly when you travel to third world countries, it is a good idea to have extra security in your accommodations. If there is no deadbolt or chain on the door, place a doorstop under your door before you go to bed.
Place contact and information on the inside and outside of your luggage. Outside tags are easily ripped off. In case something happens to your suitcase (and the tag), put some information inside it so that you can easily identify the bag, or that a baggage handler can find if for you promptly.

Jet Lag
Don’t go to sleep before 8pm local time if you are adjusting to a different time zone. If you go to sleep too soon, it can make jet lag worse by keeping your body accustomed to your old time zone. The quicker you get used to local time, the quicker jet lag will fade.
This can be frustrating when having issues with your traveling plans. Delays and scheduling conflicts occur every day. In cases such as these, you and the agent you speak with are the only people who can solve the problem. You may get frustrated while trying to sort out the problem. Try staying polite and calm.
